Terms of Service

CardPlay is an online marketplace that allows users to buy and sell trading card game (TCG) cards and sealed products, with a current focus on Simplified Chinese Pokémon and Japanese One Piece cards. CardPlay is operated by Sanam's Labs.

By creating an account or using the CardPlay platform in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use CardPlay. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

As a buyer, you are responsible for reviewing listing photos and condition descriptions before purchasing. All sales are final unless an item is materially not as described, not delivered, or confirmed counterfeit.

You agree to complete payment promptly after placing an order or accepting a seller's counteroffer. Repeated non-payment may result in account suspension.

Sellers must be approved by CardPlay before listing. By listing an item, you represent that you own it, that it is authentic, and that your description and photos accurately reflect its condition.

Sellers are responsible for packing and shipping orders within their stated handling time. Failure to fulfil orders reliably may result in account suspension or removal from the platform.

Sellers are responsible for any taxes, duties, or other obligations arising from their sales.

The following are not permitted on CardPlay:

• Counterfeit, altered, or misrepresented cards
• Items that infringe third-party intellectual property rights
• Transactions conducted outside the platform to avoid fees
• Harassment, fraud, or manipulation of reviews or ratings
• Any activity that violates applicable law

Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

CardPlay charges sellers a commission of X% of the item sale price, plus a fixed transaction fee, on each completed sale. Fees are deducted before payout. The current fee schedule is available in your Seller Dashboard.

Buyers are not charged platform fees. Shipping costs, if applicable, are displayed at checkout.

All payments on CardPlay are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. CardPlay does not store your full payment card details.

Seller payouts are issued via Stripe Connect. Sellers must complete Stripe's identity verification before receiving payouts.

Shipping is the seller's responsibility. Sellers must ship within their stated handling time using a tracked method where applicable. Risk of loss passes to the buyer once the carrier accepts the package.

CardPlay is not responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged packages, though we will assist in dispute resolution where possible.

If you have a problem with an order, you must open a dispute through the CardPlay platform within 3 days of the delivery date (or the estimated delivery date if the package was not delivered). Disputes submitted outside this window may not be eligible for resolution.

CardPlay will review evidence submitted by both parties and issue a decision. Our decision is final within the platform. CardPlay reserves the right to issue refunds or reverse transactions where warranted.

CardPlay provides the platform as-is and makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of listings, the conduct of users, or uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CardPlay is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

CardPlay's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to CardPlay in the 90 days preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
